New rides this year are Axis (their new refurbed Sizzler for Unit 2), Downdraft (dartron hurricane style ride), Friendly Wheel (a technical park wheel), Pharaoh’s Fury (swinging ship ride by Chance Rides), Seven Seas (wisdom Moby Dick type ride)


Returning rides this year are RC-48 and Tornado. But no Dragstrip Mega Slide, Extreme, Fighter, Hit in 2000, Pirate, Rainbow, Spin Out, Twister, or Yo Yo this year. But 72 rides as usual.

A solid line up. I’ve only been once, a few years ago. But with the much closer to me State Fair around the corner, with most of the same rides, I usually just wait for that.

Have you been to the Miami Fair? I’m thinking of making the 4 hour each way trip this year finally. I’ve never been to a NAME provided midway yet.

Decent lineup IMO. If the government hadn’t required rainwater sockets, they could’ve still been using the old midway layout and put more rides. But the lack of pieces like Fighter, Hit in 2000, Rainbow, etc. is a downer.
