Wild Adventures is offering free admission on Saturday 09/09/2017 for anyone who was displaced because of Hurricane Irma. Proof of residency as being from one of those counties that was evac'd required.

Ominous Descent walk through haunted attraction in Bartow, FL will not open for 2017 haunt season. Buildings had major damage and are condemned. This was to be the first season for this attraction. They plan to find another location for the future.

Halloween Horror Nights' Academy Of Villains show has been running a short show in place of its Afterlife show. First 2 weekends, a small temporary stage in front of Horror Make Up Show. This past weekend, their regular stage was up, with a less short show running instead of Afterlife. Rumors are that the Afterlife show will not run at all during the event.

I visited Legoland Florida yesterday and the Cypress Gardens botanical gardens walk through area (the entire gardens) is closed and apparently has been since the hurricane.

The Cypress Gardens area of Legoland Florida was back open when I visited a few days ago. Don’t know when it reopened, but it was sometime between mid December and then. The historic gazebo was blocked off with caution tape, it appears it has received a fresh coat of paint and possibly other refurbishments.

Race City (home of the Hurricane roller coaster) reported being safe and hoping to get back to normal soon.

ZooWorld reported the animals and staff in safety areas of the parks earlier today as the hurricane about to hit.

No hurricane today, but the weather is awful in central Florida! Very cold and rainy since overnight, rain continuing through until tomorrow morning! Water parks are closed today, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Tampa are both closing early, and both Fun Spot parks are only opening the arcade today.

SeaWorld Orlando has not yet announced anything, but their park hours on Sunday 9/01/2019 have changed to closing at 6pm instead of the original 9:30pm, which means now Saturday 8/31/2019 is the last opportunity for Electric Ocean including all the summer shows. No other dates have had their park hours adjusted so far.
