I’ve visited a few of the reopened Florida parks.
Fun Spot: Kissimmee masks are required. Not a lot of enforcement. Orlando masks are optional, but are going to required starting tomorrow. Masks are used by staff at both parks. Social distance markers are there and mostly respected. They load every other row/vehicle and then load the other ones next cycle, and clean them in between loading. Most everything is open.
SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Tampa: temperature check and masks required. Reservations required. Staff does good job making sure everyone keeps masks on including over nose. Busch Gardens was a little more thorough making sure social distance markers are respected by guests. Cleaning vehicles every hour occurs. Load every other row on rides and every other row at shows. Staff directs guests when to exit shows. Some attractions closed at these parks (SWF: Journey to Atlantis, SkyTower, walk through only on Antarctica, Wild Arctic, and no show at Turtle Trek; BGT: bumper cars, sky ride, Turn It Up, Stanley Falls closed). Sharks grill only serving appetizers and drinks at SeaWorld, no Dine With Shamu at SeaWorld. Both parks’ new for 2020 coasters look near complete, but neither are open.
Universal: temperature and face masks required. Staff does amazing job with mask requirement and social distance markers use by guests. Staff directs guests where to sit at shows and exiting the shows. Every other row used at rides and shows, Empty seats not filled with guests from other parties. Guests must use provided hand sanitizer at each ride before boarding. Characters are available and set far back for photos, characters wear masks. All attractions except Fear Factor Live and play areas open. Parade not operating. Some attractions do not use pre shows, ET Adventure does not use name feature. Virtual line in use at some attractions. Quick service restaurants guests sit and staff takes order or mobile ordering is used, then staff delivers meal. Bourne Stuntacular Show at USF has begun technical rehearsals with guests and is very good.
