HoliWood Nights 2020 rescheduled!

Since we can't all be at Holiday World tonight riding the Voyage, Holiday
World announced tonight via a Facebook live video that they have
rescheduled HoliWood Nights 2020.

The new event date is August 28-29, 2020.

Somehow, HoliWood Nights will overlap with and tie into the Coastin' for
Kids funder for Give Kids the World.


As of right now (11pm 5/29/2020) the traditional HoliWood Nights page
(holidayworld.com/clubs) and the new Park Update page
(holidayworld.com/update) have not been updated.

I see a lot of people on Facebook groups who complain that admins delete or turn off commenting on too many posts. Here we have an unmoderated group that anyone can join and is mostly unused.

This is still a great way to have a group. People are sheep when it comes to the internet, and it seems the time is ripe for people to move away from social media apps and back to newsgruops, IMHO.

As for Hollywood Nights, really was thinking about attending this year, problem is that my kids start school before those dates in late August. It's hard for us to travel out there, spend the weekend, without them missing at least one day of school, but more likely 2. They don't really want to do that (miss school). Plus if we attend HHN in Sept or Oct, that woudld be the time they miss 1 to 2 days of school.

I've already booked a trip for Disney World back in the pre-COVID era for that weekend, so I'm probably out for HWN this year. That's too bad but it's been an "every other year" thing at best anyhow.
