Now that many parks have reopened, or reopen soon, any new TRs?

I'm working on one now. Two, actually...

Got kind of delayed when my iPod took a swim, I crashed headfirst into a
waterslide, and my laptop quit working all at once.

I’ve been to some Florida parks and fairs earlier before the shutdown. Also been to many parks in Florida since reopening. Plans for other parks this summer were cancelled and hoping for some autumn/Halloween visits.

I should mention I haven’t gotten any new coaster credits this year. But did see the new Bourne show at Universal Studios Florida, and it’s really awesome! I also rode the new Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios earlier this year which was cool.

Can’t remember if there are any other new for 2020 attractions I’ve been on. I don’t think anything at any of the fairs was new this year. I’m 3 coaster credits from 500 and thought this year I’d definitely make it with Ice Breaker, Iron Gwazi and some other park’s coasters.

I went to Tunisia in February, just before this all went to hell:

At the moment it looks like this could be the only trip this year.

Just got back from Mt Olympus. All I can say is owww. Rode Pegasus and it was flying thru the course. A little rough but not terrible. Made the mistake of riding Hades next and spent the next 3 days with a splitting headache. When I rode this last year it had a minor but definite vibration taking away from the enjoyment. This year it has octagonal wheels and feels like the axles are trying to grind thru the bearings. The park has great rides but the maintenance is non-existent. All the rides but only the lower half of the water park is open and nothing indoors.
Descent number of people there but no waits for anything.

Why hasn't another park opened a wave pool like Poseidon's Rage?

Stopped by Little A on the way up there. Only spent an hour but did everything but the train. Might have been around 30 people in the whole park.

What did you think of the new process of having to stay on one of their properties to gain entry to their park ? I was there a month ago and didn't notice too much of the mask wearing or wiping down of the seats and/or lap bars. On a Friday evening(June 18) I went to an outdoor concert at the Grateful Shed restaurant/bar a few blocks from Mt Olympus and social distancing and mask wearing were very lax. The one thing i noticed about Hades is how much speed there is coming into the brake run. By extending the track across the top of the loading station and dropping down into the very empty back parking lot to do more high banked turns or flat out airtime hills this monster of a coaster could become a contender for worlds' longest wood coaster.

Stay on property keeps the crowds down, but I dont think that would be an issue either way. Noah's Ark had people, but not huge crowds from what I saw from the road.
None of the GP wore masks anywhere in the Dells. Most of the staffs were wearing them, tho. Makes sense considering its all outdoors activities.
Wiping down the lapbars was a joke. Just taking the same dry cloth and swiping the top of each bar. Its a waste of time even if you thought it might be effective.
Full trains too, I'll give them credit for not falling for the "every other row" stupidity,
Hades, and Pegasus for that matter, were running blazingly fast. So fast, i'd gather that its a major factor in the deterioration of the ride. Even the pre-lift section has a good amount of vibration.

Typhoon Lagoon was a thing way before Mt.O had a mega wave.

Never been to Typhoon(and probably never will, no waterpark is worth more than a season pass to most other parks). Even then, Typhoons waves dont look to be much more than any other wave pools...Poseidons are HUGE in comparison.

I went to California in January for a few days. Went to Six Flags Magic Mountain, Disney and Knotts.

Knotts started off so well, which was fun since my only visit in 2005 was a nightmare. Unfortunately, old habits die hard and the parks went out of their way to turn a good visit bad. It happened at Ghost Rider: you're running two trains and the station is constantly full. What do the ride operators do? Decide to only load one train and run the other empty. They just didn't feel like checking the other train, turning the station wait into a 20 minutes wait. Besides that, while the chicken restaurant quality has gone downhill, the redo of the Calico Mine Ride was done really well and Xcellerator ran great.

Oddly, the best park of the trip was Six Flags Magic Mountain. Ride operators were fast and friendly, everything except X2 and the water rides were running. West Coast Racers is a fun coaster that fits in well in the park and the layout is great. Good food too near the ride.

Disneyland felt odd. Very low crowds when I went and the cast members all seemed stressed and gave an off vibe.

That “cycle both, but Only load every other train“ thing seems to be a California thing. I had that happen at several coasters at Magic Mountain as well. Never anywhere else.
