I haven’t been on it, but I’d rather do that than pay $30 for a Slightshot ride. Heck the Zamperla Volare at Luna Park costs $8.

just think-with 20 riders per ride that's $300 each time a train goes out CRAZY money to be made there

Coincidentally, a Facebook memory came up today where a friend who was in Las Vegas told me that the Manhattan Express was $20. This was in 2010.

When was the last time Desparado was operational ? The rides on top of the stratosphere tower are scheduled to open tomorrow (june 4) according to their website. Are there mechanical issues with Desparado as to why its not running ?

Not sure, but it may just be a lack of ridership. Most of the Vegas
tourist crowd doesn't head that far off the strip. And most of the locals
who want to ride it have already ridden it, and aren't willing to pay that
much to ride a mediocre ride again.

Most reports I've heard from people who've been in recent years said that
they had to wait forever to get enough people to ride it even once.
