1. Is your first wood coaster credit still operating?

2. Is your first steel coaster credit still operating?

3. What was the first coaster on your track record to close? (At some point all your credits were still operating, until this one closed.)

4. What is the earliest coaster credit on your track record that’s no longer operating? (So if you listed them all in the order that your first rode them, what is the first one listed that’s no longer open?) note this may or may not be different than any of the above answers.

Depends how you look at it. Adventureland’s Hurricane is #6 on my list, but It has been relocated and is currently operational.

Six Flags Great Adventure’s Great American Scream Machine is #8 and no longer exists.

Jet, travelling Schwarzkopf Jet Star in France. It was set up at Babyland-Amiland last year but never operated there and apparently it isn't going to now. Shame.

Yes, although moved to another state. It was the Florida Hurricane at Circus World/Boardwalk and Baseball in FL. It was moved to Magic Springs and is now the Arkansas Twister.

Yes - the Thunderbolt at Riverside! Or SFNE as it is now. Back to one train operation even, just like the "good ol days".

Also affirmative. That was Space Mountain at MK.

The coaster earliest on my count that's dead is Black Widow (#4 on my count). However the first coaster on my count to actually close forever was a different Arrow Shuttle - the Python at Six Flags America/Adventure World. I rode that in 1998 and it closed the same year.

Oddly difficult for me to do this one... I didn't start 'counting' or keep track of stuff until I already had +100 coaster ridden. It wasn't until 2000ish when I learned about 'counting' and I never made my own list until 03... So the order of my first 100 or so credits arent in any sort of order (I don't even know my first coaster...) although I know the years for some based of vacations we took (ie: Disney in 95)

1. Is your first wood coaster credit still operating?
- Not sure. It's either Yankee Cannonball (still operating) or Flyer Comet (gone)

2. Is your first steel coaster credit still operating?
- Probably, my parents had taken me to parks my entire life... so I don't know what my first coaster even was but we made yearly visits to Canobie, Whalom, Yorks, Storyland, and Santas Village....and the local fair. So somewhere in New England is/was my first steel coaster... and even credit.

3. What was the first coaster on your track record to close? (At some point all your credits were still operating, until this one closed.)
- Maybe Flitzer at Yorks, closed 1998.... Or the Galaxi at Pirate's Fun Park (unsure when it was removed)

4. What is the earliest coaster credit on your track record that’s no longer operating? (So if you listed them all in the order that your first rode them, what is the first one listed that’s no longer open?) note this may or may not be different than any of the above answers.
- Again, not knowing my order for anything ridden in 90's its hard to say, but I'd assume the Flitzer at Yorks. Its for sure the first coaster I remember *not seeing* on a return visit. And that was gone before the Riverside coasters left in 99, Galaxi left PFP before 99 as well but I cant put a year on it but I do remember going on a summer camp field trip and having it be gone.

Simultaneously, everything that closed with Geauga Lake. (Raging Wolf Bobs,
which closed a few months before the rest of the park, was down both times I
visited the park.)

I believe that’s WildCat at Cedar Point, if I have the order of things
right. Like CanobieFan, I didn’t start counting until I already had around
150 coasters done and my recollection of the order of the earlier ones
isn’t always reliable.

1 First wood coaster was junior NAD woodie at The Granby Zoo in Quebec. I think it was called the Comet. It would also be the first coaster that closed after I rode it as it only lasted a few years.
2. First steel coaster, and my first coaster was the kiddie coaster at La Rinse. It is still operating I was about 4 years old. I don't remember the current name of the coaster.
